HALF MARATHON QUESTIONS

Here are some video answers to some questions about our training program.

Could I really do this?  I'm "not a runner"! Is this SERIOUSLY for me?

What does the Fresno Boot Camp half marathon training consist of?

What if I'm not a beginner?  Will it be too slow?

What if I know I'm going to miss a day or a week
or I can't make the Tuesday group runs?

What about for Fresno Adventure Boot Camp Platinum Members?

Why do I need to train with a team? Can't I do this on my own?

I think the training was done really well. The web tools were a really cool BONUS feature both for my personal use and to stay motivated by reading other runners' posts. The presentation was first class (the running shirts were top notch), providing water at the halfway points, GU's, bananas, etc. REALLY an AWESOME job!

I am *so* glad I signed up for the program. I never would have made the 13.1 miles without it, because I would have decided that running was for the birds by the first 5 mile run. But knowing there would be lots of other people doing the Saturday run together in Woodward Park, some of them as nervous as I was about the miles, kept me going for one more mile. The company, conversation, shared good and bad days (and seeing it's not just me who has bad days), well-timed encouragement emails and general encouragement and "happy funness" of Karey, Kelly, and Shawna was *much* needed and kept me going.

You guys seem to have a genuine concern for all of us in the group. Your knowledge and support were helpful. I like the positive can do attitude you project. Running 13.1 miles was a big deal. I was very apprehensive. You got me over that.

What a great group. It was wonderful to meet new people and do something so great. I checked something off my "bucket list" for life and had a great time doing it. You can't ask for much more than that.
